The Queensland Bushwalkers Club provides a wide range of bushwalks and socials in the Brisbane area, the south-east Queensland region and beyond.

The Club promotes bushwalking in a friendly atmosphere while fostering appreciation and conservation of the Australian wilderness.

Meetings

Club Meetings are held every two to three months. 

Meeting dates, times and venues vary and members will be emailed in advance with these details. Alternatively those details may be found on the Calendar page on this website. 

Walker Guidelines

General information on items such as how to go on a walk, what to carry in your pack, First Aid Kits, Minimum Impact Bushwalking principles and Bushwalker Etiquette is available on the Walker Guidelines page.

Membership

To become a member you must be 18 years of age or over.

Calendar

A Club Calendar is available for download on the Calendar page. 

This Calendar contains details of upcoming walks (including shared walks with other clubs by pre-arrangement), social outings and meetings. Check every couple of weeks for updates.

Although we are primarily an adult bushwalking club and do not run activities specifically for children or families, we recognise our responsibility to ensure that any child involved in our activities is safe and respected.
