Information to help improve school libraries in California
Organizing your library and Accelerated Reader
School libraries, K-12, should be organized according to Dewey Decimal Classification System. Students need to be able to have the same information as their counter-parts around California, the United States and the World. Arranging a school library according to Accelerated Readers is not best practice and does not follow the national standard for libraries in Information Power: Building Partnerships for Learning.
