- Days ahead of time, start preparing your flat sheets with eyelets (it takes a while). Place them at 6"-8" intervals along the top and bottom edges of each sheet. Check the images in the gallery for a sense of how they will be installed.
- 13 pipes are cut to the sizes 4' + 4' + 2'. The remaining 5 pipes are cut to the sizes 5' + 5'. Use a small hacksaw and a miter box. A file can be used to sand away the plastic shavings around the cut.
- Assemble the roof as in the following diagram
- Assemble the front as in the following diagram
- Place the Roof on the ground. Flip the Front upside-down, so that the top is laying on the ground, perpendicular to the Roof. Attach the Front to the Roof. Lean the Front on a fence or some other support, next to the Roof.
- Assemble the left and right sides, as shown in these two diagrams
- Flip the Left side upside-down, and attach to the Roof and Front
- Flip the Right side upside-down, and attach to the Roof and Front.
- Assemble the back, as shown in the diagram
- Flip the back upside-down, and attach to the Roof, Left, and Right sides. At this point the sukkah's frame is fully assembled but is upside down.
- Roll the sukkah so that the roof is on top. You may need several people to help at this point. Then move the sukkah to its final position.
- Put the furring strips across the roof at various locations. Place the lattices on top of them and secure with zip ties.
- Place your schach on top
- Connect the sheets to the walls via the metal rings.
