Point Clear, Alabama

For over 50 years, Pupil Colloquia have brought together experts from around the world who study pupillary responses in humans and animals. Each meeting includes presentations on external (e.g. light intensity, color, visual patterns, pain, etc) and internal (e.g. cognitive, arousal, attention, sleep, etc) influences on pupillary responses in normal individuals, as well as human clinical studies of afferent, efferent, and central pupillary pathways. If you study any of these aspects of the pupil, you should plan to attend the 30th Pupil Colloquium.

The meeting will begin with a reception on the evening of Sunday September 8th, 2013, and end with breakfast Thursday morning, September 12th, 2013.

Meeting presentations will take place on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Registration will include a welcoming reception on Sunday evening, lunches and a banquet on Wednesday. We are also planning to visit the Dauphin Island Sea Laboratory and Esturarium.

This meeting will be held at the Grand Hotel Marriott Resort, Golf Club & Spa in Point Clear, Alabama, located near Mobile, Alabama. It is an AAA Four Diamond beach resort with two challenging golf courses as part of the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail, as well as a luxurious 20,000 square foot European-style spa, 10 tennis courts, a fabulous array of exceptional dining options and a sizeable marina for sailboats, yachts and fishing boats.
