Farmington High School PTSA Mission:
To support and speak on behalf of children and youth in the schools, in the community, and before governmental bodies and other organizations that make decisions affecting children;
To assist parents in developing the skills they need to raise and protect their children
To encourage parent and public involvement in the public schools of this nation.
Farmington Falcons PTSA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable organization and part of the National PTA, Michigan PTA and Farmington Area PTA Council organizations. We welcome all parents, staff, students and community members to join. Annual membership is $15 for the first family member and $5 for each additional family member when purchased at the same time. Staff memberships are $10 each. Your initial membership includes a school directory filled with important information on school and district events, contact information and clubs and activities. It is an invaluable resource for every FHS family!
You do not have to be a member of Farmington Falcons PTSA to attend meetings and events, and membership is not an obligation to volunteer. Your annual membership shows your support of the PTA mission and of the activities supported at Farmington High School. Membership also gives you voting privileges on how funds are spent and which activities PTSA supports. Membership is also required for Millionaire Party fundraising workers, grant and scholarship recipients, and to hold office in the PTSA. The FHS PTSA is an All School Booster Club with a 100% membership goal.
Support - We award the money to FHS students, clubs and teams in the form of grants, club support, scholarships and academic competition support. We couldn’t have accomplished this without our members!
Student Members - Farmington Falcons PTSA welcomes and encourages student memberships. PTSA provides students with leadership and service opportunities that develop skills and produce achievements that will be recognized by colleges, universities and community organizations when determining admissions and/or scholarships. PTSA strives to provide an additional means to explore student interests through art, service and advocacy opportunities. Student members are eligible for the local Fred Nassar Memorial, Gill Elementary PTA and C. Robert Maxfield Farmington PTA scholarships and for Distinguished Service Awards from FHS and the Farmington PTA Council as well as state and national PTA scholarships.
The FHS Falcons PTSA supports all these great programs, activities, and more:
