We Need Volunteers
Help us keep Eisenhower the fun and community driven place we all know and love. We are currently looking for volunteers for the 2026-27 school year. Please email web.eisenhower@gmail.com with interest and/or questions!
1. Staff Appreciation Team Leader
Lead team to organize back to school dinner (August), conference dinners (2x/year), and Staff Appreciation Week (May). There are currently two volunteers on this team. Previous team leader will onboard.
Time Commitment: 2 hours/dinner, 7 hours/staff appreciation week Duration: Throughout school year
2. Shop 4 IKE Coordinator
Run our local vendor gift card program 2-3x/year. Previous Shop 4 IKE Coordinator available to help onboard.
Time Commitment: Approximately 4 hours/sale
Duration: 2-3x/school year

Our Mission
Together we are a powerful voice for children! With your help, the Eisenhower PTA, will help every child realize their full potential through:
Advocacy: Engaging and empowering families to support, speak on behalf of, and include all children
Involvement: Promote a nurturing environment and encourage positive involvement in all facets of a child's life
Development: Assist in developing skills to raise and protect children and youth
We do this by securing resources for our classrooms and the school, and opening communication between staff and parents. Our PTA helps fill funding gaps left by budget cuts and short-falls on a district and state-level. And we help build community by hosting many fun and educational events throughout the school year.
We invite you to come to a meeting or reach out to let us know what you'd like to see happening at Eisenhower Elementary: let's build our community together!

Meetings are at 3pm in the Eisenhower library, unless otherwise noted.
Childcare and simultaneous Spanish translation will be available. Meetings include regular updates from Principal Stroup, budget updates, news about upcoming events, and school or volunteer needs.
