Welcome to the Ballentine Elementary School PTA website. Check back here often for information about upcoming events and to learn about how you can be a contributor.

Current Volunteer Opportunities:

  1. EOG Proctors Needed - http://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c0b44aba92aa02-proctors
    •  Please consider volunteering your time to help proctor the EOG's in grades 3, 4, and 5 during ELA, Math, and Science Testing. Your help is critical because without proctors we can not test! Each time slot is from 8:30am - 1:30pm. You must be an approved WCPSS Volunteer to sign up. If you are not, please stop by the office to fill out the volunteer form. There will be proctor training at 8:30 am the morning that you volunteer to proctor. If you proctor multiple days you will only need to attend training once. THANK YOU!
  2. Translate Documents - If you are interested in this contact Amy Bailey
    • We are also looking for parents who can help translate our PTA information and documents into other languages.
  3. Join (or lead) a Committee

Don't forget these two items:

  1. Identify one way in which you can volunteer your talents.
    • If you are interested in jumping into a leadership role (Current position vacancies), contact us and let us connect you with the right opportunity.
    • Sign up to help in the school, at an event, from home. Keep an eye on our Current Volunteer Opportunities:

  2. Sign up in the office to be a registered WCPSS volunteer.
    • Takes about 15 minutes for first time registration and less than 5 minutes for renewal.
    • Head over to the Ballentine Elementary School website to learn more about volunteering and the WCPSS requirements.
