This competition is made to test new safety features incorporated into the latest version of PSAEncryption Algorithm. An indestructible beast that will surprise you with a strong headache. The competition haves two tests, the first is easier and the second is more difficult. In the two tests you have to find out the result of the numbers corresponding to the spaces marked with the question mark(?). Consequently, the winner of the second test will get a bigger award. Paths for the solutions in the two tests:
- All characters are alphanumeric. These can be uppercase letters, lowercase letters and numbers.
- No characters repeated in each and both of the tests.
- None of the PSA Encryption internal calculations in these tests are over the 2^31 value.
Awards distribution:
After paying taxes, the remaining award amount will be divided into 4 equal parts. These four parts will be distributed as follows:
- 1 part to the organizer of this competition.
- 1 part for the winner/s of the first test.
- 2 parts for the winner/s of the second test.
In case of more than one winner in each of these tests the corresponding award distribution will be as follows:
- If the total award for a test divided by the number of winners of one test is above 25,000 Euro will be awarded to each person or group with the same amount of money. Otherwise will be awarded only to the person or group's first mail received with the right solve.
In case of no winners in one or both tests, the amount of the award of each unsuccessful test will be divided into 2 equal parts to be distributed as follows:
- 1 part for the award of this competition in next year.
- 1 part to donate free software projects.
If any winner is a under-age people the award will be sent to their parents or legal guardians.
In case this competition's collection for the given year is over 5.000.000 Euro (five millions), people who comply with the Terms and Conditions of PSA Software can request a free copy of the source code. Will be announced to public.
Timeframe:
The competition will run between the days June 15, 2024 and April 30, 2025, both inclued. Outside this time new winners will not be accepted.
Competition goals:
With this competition I intend to show that there is also a complete computer security outside the "official" ways. I was have many years without work and want to earn some money to start another projects.
You must understand that I made this competition without nothing. I can not afford a notary, but if one is offered to register this competition for free I will sign all that I written here. In any case, with or without a notary, awards will be paid to winners.
This competition will be repeated every year until the encryption's security is compromised or my personal situation does not allow me it.
Fundraising for awards:
You can participate in this competition entitled to all the awards, also if you don't contributed donating money to increase these awards. Unfortunately, if nobody helps to increase the award less people will be interested in participating this competition.
The receipt of funds will be through Western-Union for international donations, and through Money Order for national donations. Before sending the money please email us.
Other rules for participation:
The organizer of this contest (me) does not participate in it. Competitors must accept all the rules set out on this page to be qualify for the award. In any legal disputes, the organizer will choose the legal jurisdiction that best suits myself and competitor will pay legal and lawyer costs.
The winners of this competition agrees to show in this web his/her name and winned amount.
Please note that when I refer to competitors and winners are related to all genres: male, female and others.
I intend for this competition is clean. I reserve the right to don't send the award if the winners have obtained the solution by any way contrary to the rules of this page, have stolen the solution to other people or groups, have coerced other people or groups to obtain the solution, or other causes of force majeure.
Each person or group can participate in any of the two tests. I understand that in a group may have disputes but I can not be responsible for it. It is convenient to keep in a file names of people who make up the group and their contact data, and tell me anyone who is integrated into the group or leave it, indicating the date on the act occurs.
Before sending the awards, the winners must be identified by sending a legible photocopy of their ID or Passport via email. If the winner is a under-age people, this documentation should send by their parents or legal guardians.
Each person or group can send up to 2 possible solutions per week (Monday through Sunday) in each of the tests. The answers to each application shall indicate the total number of successful elements, or if you have hit all the elements in the correct order.
I can not be responsible for the proper receipt of an email, ways used by that competitor to send that email, the internet connection used by the competitors, possible delays in mail servers, or other problems unrelated to me. If you send us an email and we don't reply you please send it again.
Received mails must be written in Spanish or English. I can not guarantee fully understanding of its contents if they are written in other languages.
Upon receipt of a funds donation to the award don't have right of return. I can not watch for increase or diminish the award against the interests of the competitors.
I can not be responsible if a Sponsor agrees to make a certain amount of money to the award and at the end of the competition does not make real its promise. This is the reason because that award amounts have separated on the top of this page.
Monetary commissions used to send the award to the winners will be deducted from the amount of the award. In the same way, we can not accept payment of the necessary fees to receive a financial donation to the award, unless it can be deducted from that amount.
At the end of the competition will be published solutions of each tests and the winners. Email will be sent to winners informing them of shipment's date of the award.
