Abstract
Meta is a science discovery tool for biomedical literature that uses AI and machine learning to surface new papers and trends to help researchers stay on top of their fields. This product is built to help biomedical researchers:
- Not miss an important paper or emerging trend
- Discover and explore biomedical research, at the intersections of multiple fields
The foundation of Meta is a large knowledge graph from the scientific literature. In this informal lunch talk, we will present how we create the KG; we will focus on some of the challenges we are facing related to biomedical ontologies. We hope to get your insights on potential solutions.
Bio
Donghui is a scientist and a technical program manager at Meta. He previously worked at the Gene Ontology Consortium.
Sunil is a research scientist, currently focusing on concept recognition algorithms. Sunil previously worked at NCBI.
