During our English lesson we did some classes about volcanoes.
The first day, the students have to made a couple dictation. Each child had a sheet with part A or B of the text and dictates to the other companion the part that has touched him, in English it is clear, trying to make the words pronounce appropriate, to facilitate the task of writing without faults . It is a collaborative activity because it is our responsibility to do it well because it is a joint task, and it is evaluated jointly.
In the second class, as we worked with parts of the volcano, we wanted to know how we could call these same parts in English, and we have done so, we have taken the image of a volcano and we have placed all the parts that we have found in it language, we have noticed that there are words that look like a lot and others that have nothing to do with, has helped us to work volcanic vocabulary.
At the third session we did a questionnaire, this individual activity consisted first of all in the search for the most important and high volcanoes on Earth, on our map of the world we have located the 8 largest volcanoes in the world, and what height they have, if they are active or not and on which continent we find them. After talking and sharing this information with the class group, we have filled out a questionnaire with questions about, what a volcano, its parts and how many can we find in the world.
