I grew up in Wintersville, OH. I received a BS in Pure and Applied Mathematics from the University of Akron and received a PhD in Mathematics from the University of Iowa.

One of my hobbies must be collecting hobbies. I enjoy Irish dance, watching rugby (although I used to play), knitting, reading, baking, traveling, etc.
