About Prof.Naren.J

Prof. Naren. J is currently working as an Assistant Professor, Department of CSE, Alliance College of Engineering and Design, Alliance University, Bangalore. He worked as a Program Head| Department of Computer Applications and Assistant Professor, Jain Deemed to be University. He worked as a Senior Faculty, Computer Science and Engineering, iNurture Education Solutions Private Limited. Previously he was a Researcher, Self Employed. He worked as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, School of Computing, SASTRA Deemed University, Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu, India. Before that he worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of MCA, Jain Deemed University, Bangalore. Before that he has he worked at St. Joseph's College of Engineering, Chennai as an Assistant Professor, MCA Department and also worked as a Teaching Associate, SRM Deemed University, Chennai. He has completed his MCA from Anna University, M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from SRM Deemed University in the years 2005 and 2007 respectively. Currently he is pursuing his Ph.D at Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science, Chennai in Computer Science and Engineering with Machine Learning as his Research area. He has 14 years of Experience in the field of Teaching. His Research Interests are Brain Computing, Cognitive Science, Machine Learning, Semantic Web, Sentimental Analysis and Opinion Mining, Ontology Modelling and Mining, Spatial Data Mining and Web Services. He has 72 papers published in International Journals and International Conferences. He is an Editor in 22 International Journals and a Reviewer in 19 International Journals. He is also a Technical Program Committee Member and Reviewer in 47 International Conferences. He is a Life Member in CSI, ISTE and a member of many Professional Bodies. He is currently the Student Branch Coordinator (SBC) of the Student Chapter of Computer Society of India (CSI) at SASTRA Deemed University, Thanjavur. He has also guided 24 Projects at the Post Graduate Level and 16 Projects at the Undergraduate Level. At the School of Computing he has organized many Workshops, Faculty Development Programs, Seminars and also 2 International Conferences. He has also been the Co-chairperson for three International Conferences. He is a recipient of so many awards namely Excellence of Teaching in Higher Education Award, Young Scientist Award, Best Computer Science Faculty Award, Longest Continuous Student Branch Co-ordinator Award in Computer Society of India, Best Paper Presenter in International Conferences Award and many other awards.
