Currently, the plan is that teachers will share their assessment of each student's Habits of Learning each quarter.
Profile School has developed a set of challenging and measurable “Habits of Learning” for all students that address 21st century learning expectations. These learning expectations are defined by the school-wide analytic rubrics which target higher levels of achievement.

For the Physical Science Courses (typically 9th graders), some assignments and activities will be assessed with regard to the Habits of Learning. These particular assignments and activities are primarily learning opportunities, not more formal assessments of the course competencies. In this case of a particular assignment (as opposed to the overall assessment for a quarter), the rubric scores will typically have the following meanings
4 Student thoroughly met or exceeded the expectations of the assignment or activity.
3 Student's work demonstrated a solid, effective overall approach to the assignment or activity.
2 Student made an attempt at the assignment, but it was incomplete in some way, or otherwise demonstrated a limited amount effort or perseverance or attention to directions.
1 Student's work was significantly incomplete.
0 Student did not turn in the assignment or did not participate meaningfully in the activity.
