In (Northern) Fall 2018, Daniel taught:

PHIL93541 Infinity

This was a PhD level course taught at Notre Dame. It covered issues in the metaphysics, mathematics and history of theories of infinity.

PHIL43335 Metaethics: Truth in Ethics

This was a repeat of the course taught in Spring 2017, below.


In (Northern) Spring 2018, Daniel taught:

PHIL83107 Philosophical Methodology

This was a PhD level course taught at Notre Dame. It covered a range of philosophical methods and questions about what philosophy is doing, and how we should do it.


In (Northern) Fall 2017, Daniel taught:

PHIL43923 Infinity and Philosophy

This was an upper-level undergraduate course taught at Notre Dame. It covered debates in the history of philosophy about infinity, and a range of contemporary debates about infinity and the world.

PHIL13195-04 Honors Introduction to Philosophy

This was a first-year introduction to philosophy course offered for students in the Notre Dame Honors Program.


In (Northern) Spring 2017, Daniel taught:

PHIL20229 Paradoxes

This course was a second-year undergraduate course at the University of Notre Dame. It covered paradoxes from a range of philosophical sub-disciplines.

PHIL43335 Metaethics: Truth in Ethics

This course was an upper-level undergraduate course at the University of Notre Dame. It focused on questions about truth and objectivity in ethics, with some weeks on the epistemology of ethics.


In (Northern) Fall 2016, Daniel taught:

PHIL 93536 Possible and Impossible Worlds

This was a PhD level course at the University of Notre Dame. It was a course in contemporary metaphysics, looking at the use of possible and impossible worlds in philosophical theorising, and the existence and nature of such worlds.


In (Southern) Autumn 2014, Daniel taught:

PHIL3072 Advanced Analytic Philosophy - David Lewis

This was an advanced undergraduate course taught at the ANU, and in 2014 the topic was the philosophy of David Lewis.

In (Southern) Spring 2013, Daniel taught:

PHIL2117 Meta-ethics

This was a second-year course about meta-ethics taught at the ANU, focusing on the topic of truth in ethics, with some material on methodology of ethics.

This was a second-year course introducing methodological and metaphysical questions about science, taught at the ANU.

In (Northern) Spring 2010, Daniel taught two courses at the University of Nottingham:

This was a third-year course examining a variety of paradoxes.

Metaphysics II, which is co-taught with Philip Percival.

This was a Masters course covering a number of topics in metaphysics.
