Prof. Md. Anayet Ullah Patwari

Dr. Anayet U Patwari is working as Professor and Dean, Faculty of Engineering & Technology, Ex- Head in the Department of Mechanical and Production Engineering (MPE), Ex-Head, Department of Business Technology Management (BTM) and Ex-Head, REASP (Research Extension Advisory Services & Publications) of Islamic University of Technology (IUT)-a subsidiary organ of OIC.

Dr. Anayet U Patwari has wide experience in manufacturing and mechanical engineering field. He published more than 200 research papers in the field of smart machining processes, chatter in machining, machinability, modeling, simulation, modal analysis, optimization of various machining processes using artificial intelligence such as Genetic Algorithm (GA), Fuzzy-Neural Network model etc in different international journals and proceedings. He received many awards for his innovative research works.

Prof. A U Patwari has been working for the human capital development program of OIC and actively involved in different capacity building program of OIC member states for the last 16 years. Some of the research works of Prof. Patwari has already been registered for patent. Currently his research team is involved to do innovative research on industrial waste, green engineering etc. He supervised many under-graduate and post-graduate projects of different students from OIC member states. He is the senior member of many scientific organizations around the world and contributed significantly in many scientific communities.
