Dr. Harshad B. Prajapati sir is an Associate Professor at the Department of Information Technology, Faculty of Technology, Dharmsinh Desai University, India. He holds a PhD in the area of Distributed Computing from Dharmsinh Desai University. His research areas include distributed computing and machine learning. He has more than 18 years of experience in research with more than 24 years in teaching. He has published more than 70 research papers in reputed international journals and conferences. As of Jan 2026, his research work has received citations of 2400+ with h-index 21 and i10-index 35. Dr. Prajapati sir has guided 20 MTech dissertations and at present guiding 6 PhD students. He has served as a reviewer for many reputed, international journals of IEEE, Springer, Elsevier, Wiley, IOS Press, and Inderscience, which includes more than 120 journal reviews and more than 50 conference reviews. Dr Prajapati sir has designed and taught many courses on latest technologies, which include Distributed Computing, Advanced Java Technology, Design Patterns and Application Frameworks, Full Stack Development with Spring Boot and React, DevOps, and IT Entrepreneurship. He is also a course coordinator of DDU AWS Academy at Dharmsinh Desai University and holds certificates such as AWS Academy Cloud Foundations, AWS Academy Cloud Developing, and AWS Academy Machine Learning Foundations.
