Forio Simulate^TM is an online platform for creating, hosting and running simulations.

In this platform, a model has been created, for the purpose of modeling and simulating the evolution of a company or organization as well as predicting the implied training needs.

The model was first created using the Vensim^TM software which offers capabilities for creating models of dynamic systems characterized by feedback loops. After that, it was imported into the Forio platform and was enhanced with rich user interface components available in this (Forio) platform.

The model incorporates variables for business growth, personnel transfers, resignations and retirements for the purpose of calculating training days for each personnel category. Quantitative training requirements are also included as variables. Training needs are defined as two types: for employees in a new position and for employees in the same position for the purpose of maintaining and developing existing knowledge.
