Over the years, Tracy Ehlert has volunteered for many organizations in a variety of capacities. Volunteering at Head Start was the start of her volunteer journey and what really fueled her passion for early childhood. The two organizations most nearest and dearest to her heart are YPN and SCAN (Save the Children Action Network). These two organizations are where she has spent the majority of her volunteer hours. She has also been volunteering in the Cedar Rapids Community School District since her youngest child started preschool in the district in 2011. She has been a volunteer at Coolidge, Hoover and Taft schools. Tracy was also a "Big" in 2020-2022 through Big Brothers-Big Sisters.

When Tracy ran the preschool and childcare portion of her business, she also promoted community involvement through service projects she did with the students in her program. You can learn more about those here:
