Bio

I graduated cum laude in Aerospace Engineering in Politecnico di Milano in 2005, and after my graduation I spent 6 months as a trainee in ESTEC (European Space Agency) working on a surface mobility study for lunar exploration.

From August 2006 to June 2010 I have been in the Delft Center for Systems and Control as a PhD candidate. The research was focused on the control of distributed / large scale systems. The PhD degree has been awarded cum laude. From September 2010 to September 2012 I have been working as a post-doc in ONERA and the Institut Galilée of Université Paris 13, on an adaptive optics project, funded by the Dutch Organization for Scientific Research through a Rubicon grant.

From September 2012 I have been appointed as permanent academic staff in the Mechanical Engineering Department of INSA Lyon, with research affiliation to Laboratoire Ampère. In Febuary 2020 I have defended my HDR from Université Lyon 1 and INSA Lyon.
