HRI Information System

1 - to create a consistent system of managing information for personal use.
2 - to create a system which can be used as the basis for discussion of how the next generation system should look.
3 - to avoid creating or using any Intellectual Property which will not be open source.
4 - to make the site mobile enough to allow transfer of the contents to future sites.
1.3 Statement of work: <pm:sow>
Extend previous HRI work towards developing the HRI information system within the limits of current home office and NRC restrictions on IP which will not allow the use of any IRAP client experience or IIT technology.
Use a "deliverable oriented" approach to managing the SoW - i.e. the nature and procedures for the work is largely defined by the km4 deliverable itself (the Contract Deliverable Requirements List, or CDRL).
Note that all items listed in the km4 are "standard documents" - in other words - they are predefined in scope and terminology by persons who are supposed to know what the content is and how to correctly define or calculate it. This expertise is contained in hri07e's Special Interest Groups (SIG's) which are intended to be the precursors to similar groups in the next generation of hri information system.
There are two essential SIG's which control much of the conceptual basis for task hri07e - these are the:
Knowledge Management (km) SIG and the Project management (pm) SIG.
The sig:km is responsible for the structure and concepts which define what things are called, where they are located and what their contents are. This is done through the dozen or so knowledge management standard documents (CDID's) which define things like filenames, jargon and acronyms usage and such.
The sig:pm is more of a traditional project management approach but does impose its own km CDID's on the deliverables for the project.
There are a number of other SIG's which have been created and maintained even for this start-up task - including a Systems Engineering (sys) SIG and a Computer Science (CS)SIG
