Why you started playing?

I've always wanted to play since I saw my uncle and cousin play when is was like 3, but the thing that got me hooked was when I saw a Mötley Crüe video for the first time.


What song(s) have influenced or inspired you?

Oh Christ, well of course Mötley Crüe , Methods of Mayhem (anything That has Tommy Lee involved in it.) Also almost anything Old school punk (Social Distortion, Sex Pistols), any 80's pop, and anything from Ozzy, The Beatles, or Nirvana, NIN, Five Finger death punch

Peanuts, G Force (not those damn guinea pigs either), Smurfs, Underdog, G.I. Joe, Transformers, Sponge Bob is ok but it gets old fast I miss Ren and Stimpy & Beavis and Butthead. I have kids so I watch a lot of cartoons!

Beef cubes w/Cream of mushroom soup over pasta, you can tell by my belly

Depends if I'm out and I'm drinking booze, either Captain & Coke, Jack & Coke, Apple Martinis, red headed slut, Shmirnoff green apple twist, Triple Black if they don't have any of these or if I'm not drinkin' I just drink soda and the only shot I do (usually) is a Red Headed Slut, at home Sunkist, Sugar Free Cool-Aid, Ice tea, I really like flavored sparkling water.

Electric blue, I use to Love Red but after 10+ years with a red Bedroom it got old

Fall its not to hot not too cold and the trees are pretty/ Halloween & Thanksgiving(i get to eat a whole crap load)

I get to be the worlds biggest little kid while I'm doing something I'm good at and love, and best of all, all the worries of the world just go away

KISS hot in the shade tour 1990 with Slaughter and Little Caesar, the first show I saw though was my uncle's band Spectrum, the first band I saw though was Kings and Queens at my aunts wedding when I was like 7 but I dont really remember to much

I had a number of pets over the last decade but have died except a Golden Retriever My Macie


What are your hobbies?

Collect Snoopy stuff and coins, watch wrestling, draw and paint, play 1 video game (Last day on earth), plan and design tattoos that I don't have money to get,

I played "Every Rose" from Poison with my cousin band ROCK STEADY at a Party in Tamaqua


What was your favorite show you ever played?

Good God! all of them were special to me just cause I was playing, but the two that will stand out in my mind forever The Night The O~Zone Babies opened for the Poptart Monkeys at Flagstaff in Jim Thorpe. It Was a dream of mine when I first started playing that one day I'd play there. And the Second Was the First time I saw the Poptarts Play at Cousin's in Hazleton. I got to play there song Voices with them and be on stage with my buddy James.

I forgot, but My buddy Kuntz probably said it. The man is a funny man.

Experience:

I was a roadie for the bands: Topper, Nighttrain, Misdemeanor, Rock Steady, Spectrum. Sound Technician for the American Cancer Society telethon for four years. Played for Tamaqua Area Junior High School chorus classes of '92 and '93 played in the "pit band" for TAHS senior class play of grease. Ran lights for the band Misdemeanor. Managed the bands Loverboy Al and Innocence (before i was the drummer). Was a temporary replacement for the band Nighttrain. Was in the bands: 69, OneWay, Skin Tight, Sleep-walker, Freek Show, Vishion, Insania, Axis, Code Blue, Geek Magot Bingo, 10-4 and the Electrons, Stickman Morley, Vortex, Toast, Urethane, O~Zone Babies, Cornerstone/Famous By Design, And did Fill in work with Chasing Sanity.

More recently (2011) I was the fill-in drummer for Seven Theory.

I retired in late 2003 only to come back in June of 2004 thanks to my boy James, he's good at getting me motivated, But after 2 years of nothing real getting started and getting screwed over a few times I decided to do more teaching and consulting bands. I've been doing that ever since.

In late 2010 I put my old band from high school, 10-4 & the Electrons back together for a one night only.

My solo project which is called Mrs. Flippewinggall will someday get off the ground I hope, and Mark my words the world needs a Wierd Al tribute band

Equipment:

This changes so often its not funny depending on what I'm playing and who I'm playing with.

I usually use a Tama Rockstar set consisting of a

9" x 10" tom, 12" x 14" tom, 16" x 22" bass, and a Grover 4½" x 10" snare drum. Tama tom and cymbal holders. DW high hat stand. A Gibralter thrown. A LP Classic Ridge Rider Cowbell, A LP High Jam Block, A set of 14" AA rock hats, 16" AA rock crash,

17" AAXplosion crash, 18"AAX china, 18" metal crash and a 20" B8 Pro power rock ride all Sabian.

I also have for the Tama set 8"x8" tom, 10"x12" tom & a 16"x20" Ludwig Bass.

My back up sets are a Crestline "SNOOPY" set & a Fluorescent Green/Blue Flame set of all larger sizes.
