Skirtings and existing plaster is remove to 1m high, walls are injected with damp cream.

A flexible membrane is fitted using a waterproof adhesive. This prevents any moisture or salt deposits coming though.

A 'backing plaster' is use to fill out to the existing surface at the top and then a plaster skim, ready for skirtings and decoration.
