Privacy policy / Permissions

I, Christopher Fuhrman, am the provider (“Provider”) of the PlantUML Gizmo service. I respect a Clients’ right to and expectation of privacy, and accordingly maintain and adhere to a rigorous privacy policy (the “Privacy Policy”).

This Privacy Policy discloses the types of personal information collected and stored by the Provider. All Clients must acknowledge and agree to the collection and use of personal information as set forth in this Privacy Policy.

Disclosure to Third Parties

I will not use client or user information for any purposes other than to provide the PlantUML Gizmo service. 

PlantUML Gizmo uses other services (Google Docs™, Google Slides™ and PlantUML.com) to provide its service. See their privacy policies for more information.

Permissions

When you install PlantUML Gizmo in Google Docs™ or Google Slides™, you will be asked to grant permissions. Sadly, you're not told why those permissions are needed. This is an explanation of why (to the best of my knowledge) they are needed.
