What is PAFOI?
Think of PAFOI as a seed. You know how even the mighty oak was once an acorn? how ven
That's what PAFOI is. We begin by planting seeds.
It can be a small idea, like decorating homes with lace curtains. Or a bigger idea, like creating a community loan system.
or an even bigger idea, like revamping the way Science is taught to 10 year olds.
The point is, you, or you and your friends, or you and your neighbours, or you and your work team, begin with an idea. Gather people who feel the same way, or are interested in starting or improving or addressing something, and forming project teams to turn their ideas into a reality.
Say you love lace curtains, and you'd like others to enjoy the benefits of having lace curtains in their homes or offices. You start by meeting or attracting others who also like lace curtains, and you have meet-ups...maybe visit one another's homes. you enjoy talking enjoy discussing the merits of lcelace curtains and the various options and materials available.
then maybe one of you decides to import lace curtains. OrAnother decides to sew lace curtians. ANother decides to market them. Another ddecides to look for wholesalers of fabric. All of you pitch in to start a campaign or a webstore or a pushcart selling lace curtains. You share your knowledge and enthusiams and before long this project takes off.
That was simple, wasn't it?
We also have existing ideas waiting to be championed by someone, and a group of people looking for collaboraters.
It's wonderful to be a bring an idea, hwoever small or specific, to life.
ANdAnd that's why our tagline is "Start Something".
