Bio:

Is currently a PhD student in the Department of Electronics & Electrical Communication Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, India. She is carrying out her research work under the supervision of Dr P.K. Guha. She received her M.Tech. Degree in VLSI Design from Bengal Engineering and Science University, Shibpur, 2013 (now IIEST, Shibpur).

Research Interest:

Her research interests include chemoresistive sensors primarily MoS 2 and reduced graphene oxide - based gas sensors. She is also interested in interfacing circuits.

Bio:

Is a PhD scholar in the Department of Electronics & Electrical Communication Engineering under the supervision of Prof. P.K. Guha. He received his B.Tech from Techno India College of Technology (Department of ECE) affiliated with West Bengal University of technology in 2011. He completed his M.Tech with Nanoscience & Technology as specialization from Jadavpur University, Kolkata in 2015. He received the "national award for the Best thesis at the masters level" in the year 2015 from Indian National Academy of Engineering (INAE). Presently, his work is based on the low temperature fabrication of metal oxide hierarchical nanostructure based microsensors to be used chemoresistive gas sensors and adsorption based water contamination sensors useful for environmental monitoring.

Research Interest:

Proper environmental monitoring is important for maintaining a healthy environment and sound human health. My research focuses on synthesis of novel transition metal oxide/doped transition metal oxide nanostructures and simulation and fabrication of sensors devices based on those structures for air and water quality monitoring with special emphasis on Volatile Organic Compound (VOCs) vapors and heavy metal ion (Cr(VI) and As(III) ions) sensors.

Bio:

Currently working towards the PhD degree in the department of E&ECE under the supervision of Prof. P K Guha. He is university gold medalist for M.Tech in VLSI Design and Microelectronics Technology from Jadavpur University in 2014.

Research Interest:

His primary research interests include the development of some highly efficient graphene based solid state gas sensors for the detection of various indoor air pollutants, quantum simulation based theoretical study to investigate the experimentally obtained gas sensing results, improving the sensor performances by utilizing some pattern recognition algorithms, implementation of tabletop sensor prototype for real time measurement.

Bio:

He joined IIT Kharagpur, India as a PhD student in December 2016 in School of Nano Science and Technology after receiving his M-Tech in Nano Science and Technology from Jadavpur University, India in the year 2016.

Research Interest:

His research is focused to develop a flexible hybrid supercapacitor with a high energy density ( compared to Li-ion battery ) and very high power density, which may replace Li-ion battery in terms of quick charging and long lifetime. Currently, he is working on structural manipulation of 2D materials for supercapacitor electrodes.

Bio:

Snehanjan Acharyya is a PhD scholar enrolled in Advanced Technology Development Center (ADTC) at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur. He is carrying out his research under the supervision of Prof. P.K. Guha. He received his M.Tech degree in the specialization of Digital System and Instrumentation from Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology (IIEST), Shibpur.

Bidesh Mahata

Bio: Bidesh Mahata is a research scholar joined in the school of Nano Science and Technology (SNST) at Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur (IITKGP) under supervision of Prof. Prasanta Kumar Guha. He received his M.Tech degree in Materials Science and Metallurgical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IITH).

Research Interest: MEMS micro-hotplate based selective gas sensor
