IJ START CANON TR8520 PRINTER SETUP

The IJ Start Canon TR8520 printer is easy to set up if you follow the procedures correctly. Initially, you need to unbox the printer, enable power supply, load paper, install ink cartridges, align printhead, provide network connection, and download drivers before you start printing. UNBOXING

  • Unwrap the IJ Start Canon TR8520 printer from the box and check if there are any damages.

  • Check if additional components such as telephone cable, power cord, and five single ink cartridges are present.

  • The user guide, warranty card, and the installation disc accompany the box. Once you unwrap the printer, place it on a flat surface.

  • Remove the seals, tape, and paper attached to it. Mostly they will be found in the areas like the input tray, operation panel, and on the top of the printer.

PROVIDING POWER SUPPLY


  • Take the power cord that accompanied your printer and plug the larger end of it into the electrical socket and the smaller end into the printer’s power port.

  • Turn on the machine and do not disturb until it remains idle.

  • Complete the initialization process by setting the language, date/time, and country/region.

INSTALLING INK CARTRIDGES


  • To install the ink cartridges, you need to lift the scanning cover and position it. Wait until the print head moves back to its position.

  • Take the ink tank and hold it by its sides. Remove the orange tape, protective film, and the orange protective cap.

  • Insert the ink tank into the machine's print head in a slanting position and snap it firmly into its place. Repeat the same process for all the ink tanks and close the scanning cover.

Canon TR8520 Setup - USB Port

One of the easiest ways to connect the Canon TR8540 printer to the system is using a USB cable. It is available in the shipment box. Prefer a cable less than 3m in length. It is done for easy access and a secure connection. The cable not be damaged or torn.

  • Keep the printer and the system turned ON.

  • Do not connect any additional devices to the USB port.

  • These additional devices may lead to an insufficient power supply.

  • Link two ends of the cable between the printer’s rear and the system’s rear.

  • The printer name will be present in the list of available devices.

  • Choose the printer name from the list.

  • If you are using a Mac system, add the printer name to the list by clicking the + sign.
