Stefan Pitschner
I am an Associate Professor at the CUNY Queens College School of Business.
My research has been published in journals such as Management Science, the Journal of Economic Theory, and the American Economic Review.
I am passionate about research that has real-world implications. How do firms make pricing decisions? Does media coverage affect the state of the economy? What is the role of credit ratings in today's financial markets?
I currently work on topics in the following fields:
Corporate finance
Macroeconomics
Applications of natural language processing (NLP) and large language models (LLMs) in economics and finance.
