Team Information
Our Team
Synchronized Swimming has been a varsity sport at Pioneer High School since 1982. The team has won 21 State Championships - 1990, 1992, 1995-2007, 2009-2012, 2014, and 2023.
Our season begins in November and ends in March each year. We typically practice Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings.
Our team actively recruits swimmers of all academic high school years and ability levels, including new athletes with no synchronized swimming experience. Swimming experience is required.
Our season has two competitive components - Figures and Routines. Everyone competes in figure competition, which are required body positions and transitions similar to gymnastics and diving. There are 4 levels of figure competition and the coaches place swimmers in the appropriate level based on skill.
We have a public Water Show after the State Championship, more info to come!
We are always looking for ways to engage with our community, including middle school and summer synchro programs. If you are interested in learning more about how Pioneer Synchro could arrange a camp, clinic, or performance for your group, please contact Coach Alice.
