Architecture

Piernicola Cocchiaro earned a degree in Architecture in 1976, and since 1977 has worked as a self-employed architect in two large design firms before founding, in 1980, the planning and design firm "Architetti Riuniti", in San Benedetto del Tronto, Italy.

From 1980 to 1990 he participated in several national design competitions as well as research projects in the field of self-building of single-family detached houses.

Since 1990 he has worked in his own private study, specializing in urban planning, building design and interior design.

From 1990 to 2008 he has undertaken several assignments in the private sector, particularly relating to design of housing complexes and shopping centers, as well as in the public sector, relating to urban planning, museums and a library.
