Rules & Regulations

1. Library borrower's card can only be issued by the authorized person. It is not transferable.

2. Do not enter without college I Card in the library.

3. Don't take Books, Periodicals, Newspapers and CD's without library Borrower card / Identity card without Librarian's permission.

4. Only 2 CDs can be issued for copy/downloading is in one day.

5. Books that are issued can not be returned within the same day.

6. If the borrower's card is lost, he/she can be issued duplicate borrowers card after paying a fine of Rs. 100 only.

7. Reference books & current issues of periodicals will not be allowed for issuing. Certain books will be reserved for reference purpose in the library only.

8. Library reference reading material will not be issued; if it is carried outside the library, a fine of Rs.50/-will be charged per day.

9. While going out of the library, every student must ensure that the books which they are taking out are issued by the Librarian. If a student is found removing any reading material without being issued, strict action will be taken against the student.

10. Books, Journals / Magazines, Newspapers, Syllabus copies, CD's etc. are library properties. Please do not write any matter and handle carefully otherwise strict action will be taken against the student.

11. Only 20 students can have access to the library at a particular time. Do not enter the library if there already are 20 students inside.

12. All students must return all library materials and complete library 'No Dues' before going on leave.

13. If any library material is lost by the borrower, it must be informed to the Librarians immediately; and in such a case, the borrower must return the material within 7 days or pays the charges decided by the Management.

14. Students can issue only one book on his library borrow card for 10 days; after that a fine of Rs.5/- each will be charged per day from the borrower.

15. No books can be issued once the fine crosses Rs.50.

16. Keep your belongings outside the library like bags, Laptops, Jerkins, issued books & personal books etc on your own responsibility.

17. Maintain silence & discipline in the library as well as in the reading hall.

18. Please switch off / put your mobile in silent mode.

19. Students are issued 3 books as book bank at the beginning of the semester-1.

20. Book Bank Scheme Rules:-

a) Your books must be returned to the library by given date.

b) All the books must be in an excellent condition as was given to you by the college.

c) All must ensure that they return their own books which has an accession number (Book No.) provided by the librarian.

If the above rules are not followed strict action would be taken by the management.
