A little about me...

I'm Phil, and after 5 years of private, classical piano tuition, at the age of 19 I was suddenly possessed by the most amazing, entertaining sounding piano style, tone and touch I had ever heard.

From that moment, at all costs I dreamt of making my piano sound like that. Pictured above is my mothers piano which I learnt on as a child and I now proudly own.

Keeping my classical teachings, I then gave myself completely over to the most wonderful sounding and the most expressively freeing song style 'The Jerry Lee Lewis Style'. It seems I've spent my whole life continuing to rediscover and refine my playing, as it is an endlessly creative well of expression you have at the tips of your fingers.

Learning a musical instrument is extremely satisfying, beneficial to both your physical and mental health and will build self confidence.

When learning piano with Phil Jackson, you'll be taught a foundation of correct playing technique and musical theory from a strong classical origin (which will assist you in any type of musical direction) and obviously we can also learn all the fundamentals and fantastic riffs of the Jerry Lee Lewis style!
