About the Teachers
Our names are Andrew and Theresa Davis. We have lived in the North Manchester area for over 30 years providing individual piano lessons.
We are very relaxed, friendly and approachable and love music. We enjoy playing the piano for pleasure as well as teaching our own children.
In our spare time we like to spend time with our family, swim, play golf and travel.
Music qualifications
Andrew holds a Bachelor of Music Honours Degree from Manchester University and Associated Board Grade 8 in Piano, Theory and French Horn.
Theresa is an Associate of the London College of Music, holding the A.L.C.M. Performer's Diploma in Piano and Associated Board Grade 8 in Piano and Theory.
Between us we have over 60 years of musical experience – including classical training, competitions, concert and recital performances.
We are part of a musical family with 2 daughters also enjoying singing, piano and other instruments
Our teaching style
Learning to play the piano should be enjoyable. Students should feel positive at the end of lessons and look forward to coming back.
We take a gentle, patient, structured and fun approach to teaching.
We find that combining structured lessons with fun and lots of encouragement brings out the best in our students.
