Yuhki Kuramoto Works
Romance is a piece for solo piano composed by Yuhki Kuramoto and included on his 1998 album Reminiscence. A version for violin is included on the soundtrack of the 2005 movie Bittersweet Life. A review on the website wftrok.com asserted that “Romance, written by Yuhki Kuramoto , is arguably the most memorable piece of music from the film [Bittersweet Life] and is used to enhance much of the films moods of darkness and light."
Yuhki Kuramoto (倉本 裕基; born in 1951) is a Japanese pianist and composer, who writes primarily for the piano. Some of his pieces have been arranged for orchestra, and he has more than seventeen published CDs. A trained physicist, he never attended a music conservatory, and he attained his knowledge of music mostly through self-study.
