Vangelis' Memories of Green

Memories of Green is a piece from Vangelis' 1980 album See You Later. It was included in his 1994 soundtrack album for the 1982 movie Blade Runner. Memories of Green is a slow piano piece against a background of synthesizer noise and the bleeps from a computer game.

Vangelis (born in 1943) is a Greek musician, and composer of electronic, jazz, pop-rock and orchestral music. He has composed the music for more than fifty albums. Vangelis is probably best known for his scores of the movies 1492: Conquest of Paradise, Blade Runner, and Chariots of Fire, the latter of which won an Academy Award. Some music critics consider him to be one of the greatest living composers of electronic music.
