Twenty Eighth Parallel
Twenty Eighth Parallel is a musical piece from 1492: Conquest of Paradise, a 1992 European adventure/drama movie released for the 500th anniversary of Christopher Columbus's voyage. The album of the movie's score, by renowned composer Vangelis, was a worldwide success.
Vangelis (born in 1943) is a Greek composer of electronic, progressive, ambient, jazz, pop-rock, and orchestral music. He is best known for his Academy Award winning score for the movie Chariots of Fire, and scores for the movies Blade Runner, 1492: Conquest of Paradise, and Alexander.
