Together We Will Live Forever is the tenth piece on Clint Mansell's soundrack for the 2006 movie The Fountain. The Kronos String Quartet and the post-rock band Mogwai are among the musicians performing on the album. The score won the Chicago Film Critics Association's 2006 award for Best Original Score, and also won the World Soundtrack Award for Best Original Soundtrack of the Year.
Clint Mansell, (born in 1963) is an English musician, composer, and former lead-singer and guitarist of the band Pop Will Eat Itself. In addition to the music for The Fountain, his notable movie scores include the soundtracks for the movies Moon, Smokin' Aces, The Wrestler, Black Swan, and Requiem for a Dream. His popular composition Lux Æterna, and a rearrangement called Requiem for a Tower, have appeared in several advertisements and movie trailers.
