That's Life

Written by Dean Kay and Kelly Gordon, That's Life is a song first recorded by Marion Montgomery and made famous by Frank Sinatra with his 1966 album of the same name. The song was used in the 2002 movie The Good Thief, and Sinatra's version was featured in the 1993 movie A Bronx Tale. As well as Frank Sinatra, many other artists have covered That's Life, including Della Reese, Aretha Franklin, The Temptations, and James Brown.

In addition to writing songs, Dean Kay became a successful music publisher. His e-mail newsletter Dean's List is published for music-industry professionals, and concerns the Internet and its role in music.

Kelly Gordon is a songwriter, producer and engineer. As a producer, he often collaborated with other artists and songwriters, including Glenn Campbell, Bobby Gentry, and The Checkmates Ltd.
