Take Me Out to the Ball Game

Take Me Out to the Ball Game is a 1908 "Tin Pan Alley" song written by Jack Norworth and Albert Von Tilzer. It has become the unofficial anthem of baseball, and is traditionally sung during the "seventh-inning stretch" at baseball games. Often recorded and cited, the song has been used in many movies and shows related to baseball. The first recording, by the American singer Edward Meeker, was selected by the Library of Congress for the National Recording Registry in 2010.

Jack Norworth (1879 - 1959) was an American songwriter, singer, and vaudeville performer.

Albert Von Tilzer (1878 - 1956) was an American songwriter, and the younger brother of songwriter Harry Von Tilzer.
