Somewhere in Time: Theme

"Somewhere in Time" is a 1980 time-travel romance movie starring Christopher Reeve and Jane Seymour.  It was adapted from a 1975 novel by Richard Matheson. The movie was widely derided by critics and unsuccessful at the box office. However, it became a cult classic. In 1990, "Somewhere in Time" fan Bill Shepard founded the 'International Network of Somewhere In Time Enthusiasts' (INSITE). INSITE has published 1,700 pages on the movie since its inception, making it one of the most documented movie of all time.

John Barry composed the soundtrack of "Somewhere in Time". It received the Saturn Award for Best Music. The eighteenth variation of Sergei Rachmaninoff's Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini (webpage) also runs throughout the movie.
