Soler works

Soler's Sonata No. 90, in f sharp major, is one of his approximately 150 keyboard sonatas, which are important contributions to the keyboard (harpsichord, fortepiano, and organ) repertoire, and which are comparable to the keyboard sonatas of Domenico Scarlatti (with whom he may have studied).

This piece was made popular by the movie Interview with the Vampire. This was the piece Claudia played when she was learning to play the piano.

Antonio Soler (1729 - 1783) was a Spanish Catalan composer whose works span the late Baroque and early Classical music eras. Best known for his keyboard sonatas, he also composed concertos, quintets for organ and strings, motets, masses, and pieces for solo organ. Soler's Six Concertos for Two Organs have often been recorded.
