Sad Angel is a piece by Igor Yakovlevich Krutoy (Игорь Яковлевич Крутой b.1954). Krutoy is a popular Russian composer, performer, producer, and musical promoter. He has written more than one hundred songs, including Inspiration, In Fate's Despite, and Madonna (written with Rimma Kazakova in 1987); and the soundtracks for the movies The Snow Queen (2003), Hostages of The Devil (1993), Thirst for Passion (1991), and Souvenir for the Prosecutor (1989).
Krutoy is president of ARS, a Russian media holding-company that includes television channel Muz-TV, three radio stations, and ARS-Records. In 2012, he became the chairman of Music1.ru, an online music company.
Igor Krutoi was awarded the Lenin Komsomol Prize in 1989, and was awarded the titles Honoured Art Worker of Russian Federation (1992), People's Artist of Russia (1996), and People's Artist of Ukraine(2011).
