Richard Krentzlin: Works
Richard Krentzlin (1864 - 1956) was a German pianist, teacher, arranger, and composer.
He studied piano and musical theory at Kullak's New Academy of Music in Berlin and worked for many years as a teacher.
Among his compositions are a two-volume collection of operas and operettas, as well as a two-volume book of piano works called The Young Pianist (1898) that's still popular.
He is the publisher of many easy-to-play collections for piano, including a set consisting of the three volumes:
Strauss for Youth,
The Most Beautiful Waltzes, and
Dance Melodies by Strauss, Millecker, Genée, Suppé, Zeller and Others
