Rachmaninoff Piano Concertos

Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto Number 2, in C minor, Opus 18, was composed between the autumn of 1900 and April of 1901. He made an arrangement for two pianos in 1901. Virtuosic and packed with great melodies, the work is one of the most popular in the classical music repertoire and has been used in several pieces of popular music.

A Russian piano virtuoso, Sergei Rachmaninoff (1873 - 1943) was one of the last great composers of the Romantic era of music. His compositions are renowned for their lyricism, expressive breadth, structural ingenuity, and a tonal palette of rich distinctive colors.
