Playing Love, A Mozart Reincarnated

The 1998 movie The Legend of 1900 was directed by Giuseppe Tornatore and inspired by Alessandro Baricco's theater-monologue Novecento. The movie was nominated for a variety of awards and won several for its soundtrack, most of which was composed by Ennio Morricone.

Ennio Morricone (born in 1928) is an Italian composer and conductor. One of the most prolific and influential composers of his era, he is famous for his more than five hundred musical productions for movies and television. In 2007, Clint Eastwood presented him with an honorary Academy Award "for his magnificent and multifaceted contributions to the art of film music".
