Nuvole Bianche (Italian: White Clouds) is a work for piano solo from the 2004 album Una Mattina (Italian: One Morning) composed by Ludovico Einaudi. The piece is featured in the 2010 movie Insidious, the 2010 British television-drama This Is England 86, and the 2012 television-series Derek.
Ludovico Einaudi (born in 1955 ) is an Italian composer and pianist. He has written numerous works, including many for movies and television. His style is sometimes called "minimalist" because of his sparse orchestration and simple melodies.
His music for the movie Not of This World was nominated for a 1999 David di Donatello Award. His music for the movie This Is England was nominated for a 2006 British Independent Film Award. And his music for the movie Strange Crime won a 2004 Union des Compositeurs de Musiques de Films Award.
