La Foule

La Foule (The Crowd) is a 1957 song sung by Édith Piaf. Composed by Ángel Cabral with French lyrics written by Michel Rivgauche, it is the French version of the 1936 song Que nadie sepa mi sufrir (Let no one know my suffering) composed by Ángel Cabral with Spanish lyrics by Enrique Dizeo. Both songs have been covered by several artists.

La Vie en Rose

Written in 1945, La Vie en Rose (Life in Pink) was the signature song of French singer Édith Piaf (1915 - 1963). The lyrics were written by Piaf, with melody by Louis Gugliemi, and English lyrics were written by Mack David. Phenomenally successful, La Vie En Rose has been sung by many notable singers and featured in many films. The song received a Grammy Hall of Fame Award in 1998.

The 2007 movie La Vie en Rose, based on the life of Édith Piaf, received many awards and great acclaim for the performance of its star Marion Cotillard.

Non, je ne regrette rien (No, I regret nothing) is a French song composed in 1956 by Charles Dumont, with lyrics by Michel Vaucaire. Édith Piaf 's recording in 1960 is the most well known, and at least a dozen other recordings have been made by other artists.

At the time of Piaf's recording, France was engaged in the Algerian War (1956–1962), and Piaf dedicated her recording to the French Foreign Legion. The song is now part of the French Foreign Legion's heritage and is sung in parades.

"Sous Le Ciel de Paris" is a French classic made famous by Édith Piaf in 1954. It was composed by Hubert Giraud, lyrics by Jean Dréjac. Quincy Jones produced and arranged the Andy Williams release in 1960. The English lyrics were by Kim Gannon.
