The album's title is taken from a line in Me cuesta tanto olvidarte. The album was the first in Spain to sell one-million copies worldwide.
Mecano was a Spanish pop band that performed from the early 1980s until 1992; it had a brief comeback in 1998, followed by another one in 2012. It consisted of Ana Torroja, Nacho Cano, and José María Cano. Mecano has sold over 25 million albums worldwide, and has been covered by several artists.
