La Chrysalide

La Chrysalide is the Theme of the film Monsieur Lazhar, a 2011 Canadian French-language drama movie directed by Philippe Falardeau. The movie was nominated for the Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film at the 84th Academy Awards. Monsieur Lazhar won seven awards at Quebec's Jutra Film Awards, as well as numerous other awards.

Martin Léon is a musical composer, arranger, and producer. A former student of Ennio Morricone. In 2011, he won the 2010 Felix award for Producer of the Year for the movies Moon Grill and Les Atomes. He also received the 2011 Charles-Cros Coup de Coeur North American Francophone award for his fourth solo album, Les Atomes. For Monsieur Lazhar he received the Quebec movie industry’s Jutra Award for Best Original Score.
