John Lennon's Real Love

Real Love is a song written in 1979 and 1980 by the English rock musician and former Beatle John Lennon (1940 - 1980). The song was ignored until 1988 when it was used on the soundtrack of the 1988 film Imagine: John Lennon, a documentary about Lennon.

Real Love was revised in 1995 by the three remaining members of the Beatles (Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr). In 1996, their version was released as a single, and was the opening track on the their highly successful album Anthology 2.
