Jay Chou's Rainbow
Written by Jay Chou, Rainbow (Chinese: 彩虹) is a song from his 2007 album On the Run (Chinese: 我很忙). In 2010, the song reached number-28 on (Taiwan radio-station) Hit Fm's "Hit Fm Annual Top 100 Singles Chart".
On the Run was recognized for being one of the Top Ten Selling Mandarin Albums of the Year at the 2007 IFPI Hong Kong Album Sales Awards. At the 2008 Golden Melody Awards, the album was nominated for five awards, including Best Mandarin Album; and it won Best Song of the Year for the song Blue and White Porcelain (青花瓷), Best Composer for Jay Chou, and Best Lyricist for Vincent Fang (方文山).
Born in 1979, Jay Chou (周杰倫) is a Taiwanese singer, songwriter, actor, and music and movie producer/director. Trained in classical music, Chou combines Chinese and Western music styles to produce songs that fuse R&B, rock, and pop genres. He has won more than 350 singer, singer-songwriter, and producer awards in Asia.
